Jungwoo is responsible for business development efforts in Asia.
Prior to Stafford, he served as Managing Director at Timber Capital, a boutique investment management firm specializing in fund solutions. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance as well as Accounting from Seoul University.

Brett is Non Executive Director and Senior Advisor to a number of Commercial, Charitable and Community Organisations. This follows a successful executive career spanning over 38 years in financial services. Brett was most recently CEO of IFM Investors for ten years where he led the transformation of the firm from A$20Bn to A$167Bn, with 89% of products and mandates outperforming on behalf of over 450 institutional clients across 23 countries.
Brett has an MBA (Exec) from the AGSM, University of NSW, and works closely with the team at Stafford providing strategic advice and support globally.

Until recently, Phil worked as a public relations consultant for nearly 20 years, specialising in profile building and issues management across the finance sector and civil society in Australia and globally. He has successfully managed media relations for some of the biggest M&A deals in Australian history, through multiple Royal Commissions and for numerous significant and highly contested public campaigns to improve public policy settings for working people in retirement.
Phil has an honours degree from the University of Sydney.
Yoon Ku Kang is an Assistant Manager in Stafford's Client Solutions team in Asia.
Yoon Ku initially joined Stafford as an intern at the Seoul office before joining full time. Prior to Stafford, he interned as an equities analyst at Meritz Asset Management where he conducted due diligence on the Korean healthcare sector.
Yoon Ku attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and majored in Biomedical Engineering.
Mark works as Finance Assistant based in Sydney and focused on Fund Operations and Investment Support as well as other key duties for Stafford’s Australian Private Equity business.
Prior to joining Stafford, Mark worked at One Investment Group and Mainstream Group Holdings Limited in registry division.
Mark holds a Master of Commerce in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Professional Accounting from Macquarie University, Sydney.

Elysse is responsible for the business development and capital raising activities in this region.
Prior to Stafford, Elysse led a career in journalism, working for media outlets such as ABC and Sky News in Australia. Elysse, most recently hosted Australia’s leading nightly business program, The Business, where she interviewed high-profile business leaders, superannuation CIOs and other key industry leaders.
Elysse has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Broadcast) and is based in Sydney.
Geoff is a co-founder and non-executive director of Stafford Capital Partners, and is the company’s largest shareholder. He was the founding Chairman from 2000 – 2021. Prior to this, he founded Pantheon Ventures’ Asia Pacific operations before it was acquired by Pantheon. Geoff serves on several of Stafford’s Investment Committees, as well as a continuing role on the company’s Strategy and Remuneration Committees. He holds Bachelor degrees in law and accounting from the University of Canterbury (BComm/LLB(Hons)), a Masters degree in Management (MS) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan Fellow), is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a New Zealand Harkness Fellow.

Stephen is involved in relationship management, strategy formulation and investment sourcing and evaluation for Private Equity in Australia and New Zealand. He co-founded Stafford Capital Partners in 2000.
Prior to Stafford Capital Partners, Stephen spent over 10 years at Macquarie Bank’s Asset Management Division, where he established and invested its $220 million private equity program. Stephen joined Macquarie Bank when it acquired Risk Averse Money Managers, of which he was an owner and director.
